Specialising in 100% British wool products for all your creations. These include products for hand knitters, machine knitters, dyers, crocheters and spinners.
Woolyknit was founded by Roger Shepley of Shepley Yarns LTD. He utilises his lifetime’s knowledge within the spinning and wool processing industry to create original yarns and fibres for both retail and wholesale customers.
ABOUT THE MILL: Our office and Warehouse are based in Warth Mill, Saddleworth which has always had an important role in the wool and textile industries of Yorkshire and Lancashire.
Our office, still based in an old working mill, is the perfect setting for any passionate wool business to thrive. Warth Mill has a rich history that begins with it spinning wool products in the 18th Century.
After WW1, the economy shrunk significantly, so Warth Mill was taken over by the Cooperative group. This was done in order to save people’s jobs who worked here and keep it as the hub of the community.
The mill was then used to create cotton for tyre cords until it became a commercial unit for businesses just like ours!

We put our heart and soul into all our products to ensure you are happy with your order, however, if for any reason you would like to return your item, then it is a very quick and simple process!
If you wish to return an order, then please do so within 14 days after the order date.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Shipping and postal costs for returns are the responsibility of the buyer.
In the event of a return being necessary due to an error on our part or the item being faulty, Shipping and Postal costs will be refunded in full to the buyer.
If you wish to return your parcel after it arrives you need to contact us either by phone or by email. Returns need to be sent out to our address at Woolyknit, Unit 13K, Warth Mill, Huddersfield Rd, Diggle, Saddleworth OL3 5PJ together with the packing note inside.
