
Based in Elgin, home of Scotland’s renowned cashmere industry, we take great pride in supporting traditional textile manufacturing in the UK as we lead the way with our unique and patented sustainable duvet filled with our perfect blend of cashmere guard hair and Scottish wool, made in Yorkshire.
Our founder, Joan Johnston, has worked for over 20 years with British and international luxury brands such as Burberry, Ralph Lauren and Dunhill. From creative design and board director to business owner and university programme leader, Joan’s wealth of knowledge and expertise has brought her passion for sustainability, innovation, appreciation of natural luxury fibres and UK manufacture to Ava Innes. Joan developed our unique cashmere guard hair duvets and continues to innovate with new products planned.

We believe in a circular economy, finding resourceful ways to use and extend the life of our materials and give back to people and the planet. This sustainable approach extends to recyclable packaging and, wherever possible, incentivised end-of-use product return, to help prolong the life of all materials used.
We offer free delivery for all orders over £50. There is a small charge of £4.50 for 1st class post of orders under £50.
We aim to send all orders out within 48 hours of receipt and will advise once sent. For larger items please allow up to 3-5 days for delivery after dispatch.
Based in Elgin, Moray, Northern Scotland, for delivery within the UK, we currently use Royal Mail First Class for small packages, Parcelforce 48hrs for larger items and DHL for international shipments.

Thank you for shopping at Ava Innes. We are delighted to have you as a customer and hope that you remain with us for many years to come. If you have bought something and have changed your mind, we will accept returns under certain criteria. For health and safety reasons, it is important that the bedding is returned exactly as it was sent to you, unused and in the same packaging, otherwise a refund cannot be made.

We are happy to offer you a return option within 14 days of receipt of goods, if the product is in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging. Any returns that do not fall within this criteria, may be refused a refund. Once the protective seal within the box has been removed for hygiene reasons we cannot accept this product for return under any circumstances. Please note we do not refund shipping costs. We recommend using a tracking service when returning goods, as lost parcels cannot be refunded.
We inspect all our products before they are sent out, however should something be below standard, please notify us by email to [email protected] and we can advise what the best course of action will be. For UK shipments a returns label is supplied within the box, via MyHermes.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please email us at [email protected] and we will provide instructions on how to make your return.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a trackable delivery service that also insures you for the value of the goods. The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. We cannot refund goods that are lost in transit.
All original shipping fees are non-refundable.
