West Yorkshire Spinners has been commission spinning British Wool in the UK since 1997. Since the brand’s inception in 2012 we have been carefully building our range of innovative products to excite and enthuse our customers, launching with ‘Fleece’ 100% Bluefaced Leicester, and growing to the extensive range of yarns and patterns you see today.
WHAT INSPIRES YOUR BRAND / DESIGN PROCESS?
Our materials inspire everything we do. All of our collections have their own story, and our process is carefully crafted around each fibre and blend. This then extends through to our colour palettes and pattern designs.
For example, our Fleece range is a collection of breed-specific yarns, showcasing natural undyed shades and palettes of beautiful rich tonal hues, each of which depict the depth and captivating colours of the countryside that surround us here in the heart of Yorkshire. The Fleece yarns are supported by a range of contemporary knitting patterns, which showcase the diversity and versatility of British Wool. From classic homewares to sophisticated ladies’ garments and casual knits for all the family, our designers showcase the superb stitch definition in every pattern.

Our master craftspeople have a longstanding love and knowledge of British wool, understanding the unique breeds and how to blend fibres to produce the finest yarns. PLEASE NOTE ALL ORDERS FROM 25TH MARCH WILL BE DISAPTCHED FROM TUESDAY 2ND APRIL, DUE TO BUSINESS STOCKTAKE, SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED
Please allow 3-5 working days for deliveries to UK mainland.
Deliveries may be subject to delays in remote areas – please allow up to 14 days.
All deliveries are £5.00 per order.
RETURNS
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the item providing it is in the original packaging with tags intact and still in an unused condition, within 7 days of receipt.
The item price will be refunded upon receipt of the goods being returned. Please email first before returning any items.
Shipping and postal costs for returns are the responsibility of the buyer.
In the event of a return being necessary due to an error on our part or the item being faulty, Shipping and Postal costs will be refunded in full to the buyer.

We will not be in the breach of contract as a result of any Force Majeure Event.
The importation/exportation of any products may be prohibited by certain national laws, and we make no representation or accept any liability in respect of the import/export of any products you have purchased.
3. Delivery of Orders
While every attempt is made to deliver goods within the estimated time, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors.
West Yorkshire Spinners Limited do not warrant or guarantee the specified delivery date, and shall have no liability to you for any loss, damage, expenses or other claims that you may incur as a result of late delivery.
Once you have received your purchase, you become the owner of those items and they will be held at your own risk. We are not liable for their loss or destruction once they have been received by you.
