The Woollen Cwtch Company was established in 2021 by Eleanor Hunt to create a meaningful and sustainable use for our British wool that would help support the increased use and value for our Farmers, into the future.
As a felt maker and furniture weaver living and working within a rural farming community, Eleanor would spend late winter months working as a lambing hand for a local farm.
It was in the lambing sheds that she discovered her passion for sheep farming and respect for the knowledge and dedication that goes into raising and maintaining a flock.
When Eleanor’s Grandmother passed away at the onset of the COVID pandemic, Eleanor made her a promise that she would use her own skills and knowledge to create something that made a positive impact in the world.
Eleanor built The Woollen Cwtch Company by adapting and developing the skills that she had learnt as a felt maker and weaver to the interests and issues that she cared most about.

We do endeavour to keep these items in stock, however please allow up to 14 days for your basket to ship.
These baskets are made with great care by hand and the willow used can take up to ten days to prepare for weaving.
Exceptions: Please contact us for single orders of over five baskets or if you require your item sooner and we shall be happy to confirm our next available shipping dates.

Returns & Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item or request a refund for any reason you have 14 days to contact us from delivery. Return and exchange items must be shipped within 28 days of delivery.
If you have any issues with your order please do contact us. We are unable to accept cancellations made after 12 hours of purchase or if shipping has already occurred for expedited orders. All cancelations must be made in writing and may incur a transaction fee to cover any banking charges.

Conditions of Return
Buyers are responsible for shipping costs and must ensure items are suitably insured to cover their full retail value and fully tracked. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
