Spinney Knitwear is a new knitwear brand aiming to create old fashioned quality knitwear with a modern design, looking to reintroduce wool to a younger generation.

Our jumpers are made using 100% British wool, spun in Yorkshire. The wool is a blend of Blue Faced Leicester and Masham wool for a yarn that is supremely soft and durable. The jumpers are heirloom pieces that are made to last and be lived in.

We wanted to create a jumper of the highest quality, one that felt like it was one of your Grandpa’s but didn’t look like it! Having both grown up in Yorkshire, we are passionate about the countryside and keen to promote British Wool and all of it’s benefits.

There has never been a more important time to shop local, and invest in quality, timeless pieces that will last. As consumers become increasingly eco-conscious, we hope that they will enjoy the benefits of a jumper that is natural, regenerative and sustainable.

We are two university students from Yorkshire, keen to support British farming and promote British wool.

We have just placed our first order, with many more colour ways coming, and are planning to launch in mid-June with a website and on Social Media.

In the future we hope to exhibit at shows throughout the country, including Burghley, Badminton, and Bramham Horse Trials, The Great Yorkshire Show, The Game Fair at Blenheim and other similar opportunities.

We are really excited to get started and would be enormously grateful for any support, knowledge or wisdom along the way.
