Dales Sheep Aran Jumper

A classic Aran jumper with a Dales and Sheep landscape pattern. This 100% British wool jumper is made entirely in Britain by Glencroft – located in the Yorkshire Dales.

Glencroft initially produced this jumper back in the late 1980s and was one of their most popular jumpers. 30 years on they decided to give this retro design another shot after lots of requests from customers in the UK and US.

This distinctive design features three pairs of black and white sheep on both the front and back, with the traditional Tree of Life and Aran moss stitch knitting pattern below. Glencroft obsess about the little details, which is why each of these Aran sweaters is finished with a hand-linked, soft roll-neck collar and a green cotton ribbon over the joint for added comfort.

The ‘cream-nep’ colour is cream with flecks of natural grey/black fibres (that’s the ‘nep). Collar can initially be tight to get over head on first few outings.

A British made wool jumper or a wool garment will cost you more. But it will last for decades and still look like new, if cared for correctly. This means less clothing purchases in the long run. If you buy a jumper every winter, consider buying one really good one every five years instead.

This is a unisex jumper, suitable for both ladies and men

We ship within the UK with Royal Mail Tracked 48 and internationally with Royal Mail International Tracked.

Occasionally we’ll use Parcelforce or DHL for larger orders.

Delivery Time: 2-4 working day delivery – £3.99 on orders under £125 and free on orders over £125

Items purchased online must be returned for a refund or exchange in an unused and resalable condition for a full refund. Where a product is faulty or damaged, we will refund the original delivery charge, but not when a product is simply unwanted.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also carry no smell of pets, perfumes or smoke.

In the event of a jumper shrinking in the wash, we will not accept return. All jumpers are sold with a ‘Hand Wash Cool, Dry Flat’ care label and provided these instructions are followed, the jumper will not shrink.

Please note – the Wool Safe washing machine cycle is not a safe method of washing our wool jumpers.
