Martha White and Black Sheep Jumper

A chunky British Wool jumper with a flock of white (and one black) sheep.

First created in 2021, this Glencroft original sheep design was inspired by repeating pattern jumpers from the 1980s. This modern twist is manufactured in the North of England from 100% British Wool.

Glencroft named it the ‘Martha’ after the then youngest member of their family business born the year this jumper was designed. However this design was originated by a design student, also called Martha (see her original concept design in the photos), so they were very happy to be able to acknowledge her contribution in the name too.

Glencroft jumpers are manufactured in the UK with a singular focus on the highest quality possible. The Martha jumper is VERY thick and warm and it should last you for decades if cared for right.

The jumper is light grey with 5 white and 1 black sheep on both the front and the back, with sheep also down the sleeves.

How to Shop More Sustainable

Buy less and buy well.

A British made wool jumper or a wool garment will cost you more. But it will last for decades and still look like new, if cared for correctly. This means less clothing purchases in the long run. If you buy a jumper every winter, consider buying one really good one every five years instead.

Sizing

We ship within the UK with Royal Mail Tracked 48 and internationally with Royal Mail International Tracked.

Occasionally we’ll use Parcelforce or DHL for larger orders.

Delivery Time: 2-4 working day delivery – £3.99 on orders under £125 and free on orders over £125

Items purchased online must be returned for a refund or exchange in an unused and resalable condition for a full refund. Where a product is faulty or damaged, we will refund the original delivery charge, but not when a product is simply unwanted.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also carry no smell of pets, perfumes or smoke.

In the event of a jumper shrinking in the wash, we will not accept return. All jumpers are sold with a ‘Hand Wash Cool, Dry Flat’ care label and provided these instructions are followed, the jumper will not shrink.

Please note – the Wool Safe washing machine cycle is not a safe method of washing our wool jumpers.

Please note we use 100% British wool, this will smell like real wool.
